The Post Wedding Photo Shoot Seems To Be The Way To Go!!!

Remember how I'd said a couple of posts ago how one of my brides decided to have a post wedding photo shoot as most of the pictures from the actual day were not the best? Well she did and I have to say the pictures are lovely! I even had time to take pictures from different angles without being harrassed about time, didn't have to style from crazy angles because the makeup artiste has the bride on her high chair, and actually got to enjoy what I was doing!

I understand that it's cost effective  to have the traditional engagement and church wedding on the same day but my goodness! The mad dash in trying to get ready for the church just makes you dizzy and sometimes makes me feel like I haven't given my best in terms of service because I'm rushing, people are counting down in my ear, the bride is panicking and parents are banging on doors and issuing threats! lol! Someone needs to video one of those moments so I can play it back for you guys.

Anyway, because I wasn't able to go to the venue of the shoot, she came to me early of the day, I got her hair done and she went on to have make up done and have her pictures taken.

Anyway, these are some of the pictures from the photo shoot. At least now she'll have great stuff to pick from in order to frame.

  1. If this hair were food, I would have eaten it, especially the back, lol.

  3. She looks so gorgeous! Her makeup and hair are beautiful done! I would really enjoy watching a frantic, mad-dash, finish up with the bride video. It would be hilarious and help us to pity you professionals a little more! ;-)

    1. Lollll. I don't know if I'll want to watch - it would be so cringe worthy. The frowning, grappling for space and trying to do a million things at the same time. But truly it would help you guys pity us more hehehehe
